are we going to try to catch the "Around the world on a Ducati Multistrada Guy" on his way past?

That's the hope.  He's currently scheduled to stop in State College overnight then travel to NYC.  They've listed us as the supporting club but I've explained that it's a LONG way to State College for our members, particularly on a school night if he hits us during the week, so they're looking at diverting him to Harrisburg/Philly area.  Depending on whether they decide to send him our way or not I've been working with Koup's, Ferracci, and Eurosports to do receptions at the three stores for him.  If it goes the way I'm pushing for, he'll come in for a reception at Koup's on arrival day, dinner, and then stay with the club overnight, then we'll have a breakfast somewhere the next morning(probably Shady Maple - he should experience a good Lancaster County smorgasbord!) before riding to Ferracci for a reception with Eraldo and maybe lunch at the store.  Then we'll ride up to Eurosports for another reception and hand0ff to the DESMO club so they can take him into NYC.  All this is dependant entirely on what Ducati decides to do, when he arrives, and how long he stays.  There's some confusion right now about whether he'd be in the area for 1 or 2 days.  They've posted two different itineraries, one showing 1 day, one showing 2.  So at this point I have no idea what's going on.  I didn't want to say too much until they figure out what they're doing, but my father's ill so I'm going to be gone all next week and time is running short.  Hopefully they'll have a decision before I leave so everyone can start planning.  The current schedule has him arriving in PA on the 18th of November, which is a Thursday, but a day or two of weather or whatever could easily push it into the weekend.  I'm betting on him not getting here until Friday or Saturday, but everyone who wants to participate should keep in mind that it could be Friday for the breakfast and reception at Ferracci.  Once I know something I'll post it.

Finally have some word.  He's definitely coming, just nailing down the details of where and when he needs to be at what places.  Hopefully we'll have it hashed out in a day or two.

Nice job slipping the RR tshirt into the pics!  After the big snow storm that stranded him overnight west of Vail in the Rockies, I'm sure he's ready to head to warmer climes!

So, who all is going on Friday? (Yeah, I'm from Philly.)
Since I read that there will be Italian and German bikes in attendance perhaps my Japanese bike can round out the "Axis Powers"?

At this point it shouldn't be a problem, but so far I'm the only Ducati on the list and that's going to be really lame!  It's going to be pretty embarassing going to get him as a Ducati club if we have more 'other' bikes than Ducatis!   Cry
